Manger of IT Operations

The Manager of IT Operations will lead the team covering both engineering and operations at ATI. The team is responsible for solution development and implementation, systems monitoring, incident resolution and more.

Your Purpose at ATI:


As a Manager of IT Operations you are not only responsible for managing the team day to day but for also being hands-on. This is a role for someone that has a technical background that is comfortable tackling tasks individually, while balancing team engagement and workload.

 

What’s Cool About This Job:


1.  Ability to plan, direct, lead, monitor, measure and report on the activities of the IT Engineering/Operations team. Covering both project development and production operations support work.

2. Provide leadership and guidance to a team of operations engineers.

3. You will work in a Microsoft environment and have working knowledge of all Microsoft infrastructure computing components, i.e. MS Operating System, HyperVisor, RDS, SQL Server, Active Directory, O365, etc.

4. Plan and structure work plans across multiple IT infrastructure functions to maintain production environment hygiene and deliver infrastructure projects/changes to support business initiatives.

5. Ability to develop, implement, and report on meaningful operational metrics that drive continuous improvement activities and results.

6. Effective communication skills particularly in articulating IT plans and perspectives in responding to business requests for support and in communicating resolution to issues.

 

What You Need to be Successful:


- Strong IT infrastructure team leadership skills and capabilities managing a multi-function technical team to achieve target levels of productivity and quality.

- Effective communication skills particularly in articulating IT plans and perspectives in responding to business requests for support and in communicating resolution to issues.

- Working technical knowledge and experience covering the entire Microsoft computing stack to include MS OS, HyperVisor, RDS, SQL Server, Active Directory, O365.

- Working knowledge and/or experience in cloud computing (either Azure or AWS) is a major plus.

- 5-7 years of technical team leadership experience leading IT infrastructure teams
